Presets and Dragonette at Terminal 5

Hailing from my homeland, Australia, The Presets have returned for their second gig at Terminal 5 since their newest, more optimistic, release Pacifica. Playing alongside them is Canadian electropop band Dragonette — a group willing to answer that age old question of what happens when a folk singer and a electro-bassist fall in love and decide to make music (hint: it’s spectacular). Also on the bill is Classixx — a DJ from LA whose latest single Holding On is one of the grooviest electro jams I’ve heard in a while. Last time I saw The Presets I was surrounded by a sea of beautiful men with really wicked dance moves. Drink lots and join in, because this event will essentially be a humungous dance party full of sweat, loud drones and good vibes. From The Presets you’ll hear rock infused electro overlaid with poetic lyrics. From Dragonette: smooth jams that you won’t be able to resist bouncing along to. Finally, from Classixx expect Donna Summer-esque” grooves that will compel you to incorporate some of those dance moves your parents pulled out to embarrass you in high school. Fun will be had by all.

$30, 7pm, Terminal 5, 610 West 56th ST. NY, NY.
