GAYLETTER

Meet Jarlos. It’s actually two people, John and Carlos, but on Instagram they share an identity. They’re boyfriends, and good friends of GAYLETTER, who we always see out and about at events. They love taking photos with disposable Kodak cameras, so when we found out they were heading to Coachella we just had to get them to document their trip. Here we go!

Our crew of 5 arrived in Palm Springs with no tickets, no reservations, and no RSVPs, but on the last day we all walked out of a VIP tent together. It was a crazy, sandstormy weekend made up of nights sleeping on the floor, days chilling poolside, and performing the magical trick of making 5 friends appear in the festival using only 2 wristbands.

It was exactly the kind of vacation I live for—spontaneous and relaxed, but overbooked with rad parties, nonstop playing with friends from across the country, and unforgettable music! Best acts I caught: The XX, James Blake, New Order, The Faint, RHCP and R. Kelly! Oh, I forgot to mention DIIV is the prettiest band, seriously, every gay on earth would melt at their show. #CoachellaForeverBitches, see you next year.
