Ain’t Laurent without yves
A sweatshirt and T-shirt design that we’re sure new Saint Laurent designer Hedi Slimane will not be rocking this winter.
We chatted with the shirt’s designer about it: “I came up with this idea once they made the whole name change to the YSL brand. I thought it was disrespectful to the the memory of Yves. I live in my sweatshirts so I put the two and two together and came up with whataboutyves.”
You raise a good question there, what about Yves? I doubt he would be happy having his name cut in half. I’m sure he’s rolling over in his cashmere and vicuna lined grave. —TOM
