HOLCOMBE WALLER PERFORMS TONIGHT!
Portland-based singer and performance artist Holcombe Waller performs at Joe’s Pub tonight with special guests Miguel Gutierrez, Gabriel Kahane and Carol Lipnik.
The multi-genre artist has planned a night full of surprises… He told me that he’ll be performing some Rihanna along with some other “crazy shit—a PM Dawn cover, an attempt at a Brooke Candy/Diane Cluck mashup…maybe some crazy R&B cover with my friend Miguel Gutierrez.” When we chatted he told me he had been up late writing a song with these intriguing lyrics: “he wants the sex, he wants the drugs, he wants the guns, he wants the candy.” Cute.
Go and see him for yourself, Waller is back in NYC and on fire. —ABI
