Summer Camp: A Pride celebration 2021 hosted by the legendary Susanne Barstch

Susanne Barstch is adding camp leader to her illustrious resume as the queen of New York nightlife. June 11 and 12th she is bringing her party crew to Pennsylvania for a weekend of pride Summer camp style celebrations.

“The weekend kicks off on Friday, June 11, with Shake, Rattle, and Bowl, an evening of confections and celebrations. The carousel comes to life at sunset with cotton candy, popcorn, and special guests — like Amanda Lepore and Milk from RuPaul’s Drag Race — greeting guests before a dazzling night of dancing, drinks, and decadence.” Then on Saturday you can expect a “Fantasy Feast” featuring a “cabaret extravaganza” plus a menu curated by Chef Kristin Butterworth.

The event is a great excuse to get out of the city, and it also benefits a super cool charity. “A portion of the proceeds from the weekend will be donated to the Persad Center, the leading social services agency in Pittsburgh, PA, for the LGBTQ+ community. Persad is one of the oldest social services agency in the U.S. and provides mental health, drug, and alcohol counseling as well as training services to the community. Learn more at www.persadcenter.org.”

We’re told there is going to be a pretty cunty guestlist, and from the pics we’ve seen online Nemacolin looks like a spectacular place to spend a weekend.
