MONDAY 5/19

HOT FRUIT @ METROPOLITAN (559 LORIMER ST.) Hot Fruit is seriously turned up this week, with performances by Hamm Samwich, Frank Jones and Charlie Denver. David Sokolowski and Econ spin nu disco, house and no wave, Ethan Weinstock presents trippy video art and Tinker Coalescing snaps and twirls to capture all your gorgeous mugs. 10:00PM, FREE!

BATHSALTS @ DON PEDRO (90 MANHATTAN AVE.) Two of our favorite parties collide this week as Bathsalts gets F.:.NCY! Shane Shane takes over Don Pedro — after all the queens have gagged over the Drag Race finale — and he’s bringing some friends: Lys Obsidian, Radio Musik, Sparklez and Charlene join Macy Rodman and Severely Mame for seriously fancy shows and DJ Timonthy Allen spins all night. 9:00PM, FREE!

 

TUESDAY 5/20

SIDESHOW @ FRIENDS & LOVERS (641 CLASSON AVE.) Step right up lovers. The newest Culture Whore event, SIDESHOW is finally here! The Meeting’s Justin Sayre will preside over the freakshow as Master of Ceremony. Renowned choreographer and straight up badass Boy Georgia will open the night with so much energy you’ll sweat just by watching. Rising star rapper 3Xs will command the stage with his sexy lyrics and “big girl workout” moves. Enigmatic performance artists Craig Ultraviolence Cady and Lucas Carey will hypnotize you and claim your soul through words and music. Closing out the first set, Gabe Gonzalez will redefine your image of a clown. Before, in between and after performances resident Culture Whore DJs Sokolowski and JX Cannon will spin beatz that make you move and groove. Ryan Streit and friends will open the second act with their campy blend of pop culture, politics and gay angst. The House of Bushwig‘s beloved Untitled Queen will grace the stage with her colorful character giving you life and love. Dark Momü and Boywolf will enact a time warping illusion and Teen Commandments will send you into the stars with their dreamy synth pop. Rip off your homogenous vail, shower your scars with glitter and come meet us where the wild things are! 8:00PM, $10.

TOTAL REJECTS LIVE @ TNT (108 N. 6TH ST.) Chris Tyler’s wonderfully strange monthly is celebrating its one year anniversary the only way it possibly could, with Britney Spears live! Come early for a screening of the seminal classic Crossroads, hosted by Minnie Cupcakes, followed by shows shows shows by Anthony Scudese and Alex Rodabaugh, Charlene, Jaime Wright, Lady Simon, Mark Dommu with Gabe Gonzalez and Paul Leopold, Max Bernstein, Ryan Streit, Sarah Bacharach, Scarlet Envy and Qhoiyn B Allure!  TIME OF THE MONTH @ METROPOLITAN (559 LORIMER ST.) iPhones attached to our bodies at all times. Our virtual identities meshing with our real ones. Metal hips and man-made organs, cochlear implants, and chips in dogs necks. The lines between human and machine are blurring, so this month #TOTM will be serving CYBORG REALNESS! Midnight performances by hostess Ariana Huffenstuff, co-host Machine Dazzle and guest performers Madame Vivien V and Princess Mickey Jäger. Music by DJ Hertz Van Rental. 10:00PM, FREE!

BLESS THIS MESS@ WRECK ROOM (940 FLUSHING AVE.) Time for Mirror Mirror Untitled Queen! Can you look that fabulous? Shows by Untitled herself, Cher Noble, Charlene and more. Music by Jessamess, Killer Wave, G H O U L S and Trey LaTrash. 10:00PM, FREE!

 

FRIDAY 5/23

PHRESH PRODUCE POP UP SHOP LAUNCH PARTY @ 27 ORCHARD ST. Bringing together a plethora of up-and-coming fashion designers who push the boundaries for streetwear and costumery in an immersive, produce filled installation space! Come look through the insanely curated selection of gorgeous one off pieces and purchase an outfit or accessories for your next performance, event or bah mitzvah! Some of our favorite designers are included: Whatever 21, Pop Psychic, Richard Kennedy and BCALLA. Art directed by Michael Burk, the shop also features work from a spoonful of our beloved creative allies, including Adam Kurtz and Vincent Tilley. KUNST @ VERBOTEN (54 N. 11TH ST.) This party was so turnt last time we literally thought the room was spinning on a revolving floor. Turns out it was just the giant disco ball playing tricks but damn we’re def ready to play again. Susan Bartsch and Dreamhouse (aka Gage of the Boone and the team behind the Spectrum) present a plethora of hosts that reflect a cross-borough collaboration that makes the party magickal and unique. Live performance by our favorite queer pop sensation SSION and music by DJs Amber Valentine, The Carry Nation, Juliana Huxtable and Becca Mccharen. 11:00PM, $20.

 

SATURDAY 5/24

PANCAKES & WHISKY @ CAMEO GALLERY (93 N. 6TH ST.) A night of syth driven electronic ecstasy with live performances from our brothers at Teen Commandments, Little Racer and Stargazy and Karla Moheno. Oh and apparently they’ll have free whisky from 7-8pm HEYO!  7:00PM, $10.

 

PAPI JUICE@ ONE LAST SHAG (348 FRANKLIN AVE.) What would Brooklyn be without some hot ass Latin queers to keep things spicy? Lets celebrate Papis and Papi lovers everywhere with a night of dancing, drinking and dirtiness. SUNNY SIDE UP @ SECRET LOCATION (TBA) Trey LaTrash presents a new after hours situation for you to get into.
