The last time we told you about this party we mentioned that Tatianna from Drag Race be performing. Afterwards we heard she slayed it. This time around they are bringing Tammie Brown (RPDR Season 1 and All Stars Season 1) to the stage. Tammie is a nutcase, she called herself a “high concept character” in the show. She got into it with Rupaul, she even told her “I don’t see you out there walking the children in nature...” For those of you that don’t know her, just watch her season, she’s cray cray fun, but you know we like those types of queens. I’m very curious to see what she’s going to bring to the BK. Also, performing will be Lucy Stoole from Chicago, the “BK babe,” Boy Radio, “headmisstress” Rify Royalty and late night shows by Bombalicious Eklaver. Music is by P_A_T. It’s hosted by Queen Robert, Magenta, Casey Caldwell. Expect lots of queens, it’s DragCon week mama! Which is way more interesting than NYFW, yeah that’s also happening — who cares right? Don’t forget to tip your queens, you’ll regret it when they are all at home and poor with no new wigs to comfort them. Sorry to sound dramatic, but it’s the t t.  —Abi

Summer is quickly coming to a close and I’m stressed! I feel like I haven’t been drunk during the day nearly enough. I can count maybe three or four times. I wish it were 34! I didn’t go on any sort of holiday though, so that probably explains it. Amber Valentine was one of my very first favorite DJs. After my first college breakup, I would run on the treadmill to her mixes from her and JD Samson’s PAT party and feel like everything was going to be OGAY. In the beginning of the summer, JD and Amber premiered another new party at the Woods that’s promoted as a “monthly afternoon disco stomp.” Having gone to the Roof at Output in July, I can say that it would be smart to look anywhere else for that Triple D: DaytimeDrinkingDancing. Output makes enough money off straight people and the Slide is primarily for queers, so… yeah. I’m not sure if this is the final installment for the year (are we expecting a warm September?) but it might be. Amber and JD are spinning the party and they’ve invited everyone’s favorite Brooklyn girl Horrorchata to get it poppin’ as well. “With delicious food, and ice cold drinks, you will get your groove on and keep it smooth for the week ahead.” These kind of Sundays are now super limited.
